History

I was born at a very young age and have gone on to become one of the most dynamic people I know.
I first became interested in photography when I got my first camera and started taking pictures.
I am a champion lap dancer and my mum is very proud of me.
I nearly won the high jump at primary school when I was 8.
I try to limit my blinking in case I miss something.
With nothing but a cheap plastic garden rake and a Ipod, I once stopped a raging bush fire.
Several times I have come up with the meaning of life but can't quite put it into words.
My friends love me.
I had a pet duck when I was 6, called Alexander, and he died when I was 7, and I still don't eat duck.
I am an accomplished baritone and can play the banjo with my toes.
I saw Elvis once, at the Cobargo Folk Festival I think.
Even though I'm older now, sometimes, just sometimes, I still enjoy eating sand.
Animals trust me.
At night I like to drive very fast- with my lights turned off, in reverse.
My pass port photo makes me look hot.
In my whole life, I've never dropped an egg on the floor.
Reading technical articles upside down helps with my retention of the facts.
My favourite colour is blue.
I have an uncanny ability to hug my way out of just about any situation, without seeming weird.
I seek out shopping trolleys with one bad wheel.
I can frolic without looking gay.
I once felt the urge to fly, and did for a moment.
Some people feel they have met before and then tell me all their secrets.
I manage my time efficiently, without even knowing it and all my bills are paid on time.
I have a passion for restoring broken cane baskets.
Dolphins, cows and snakes never bite me.
When I grow up I want to be a fire man or maybe an astronaut, what ever pays the best.

Motivation

Did I choose to be a photographer or did it choose me? I believe every body needs a form of self expression. Some people paint, some people write, some people sing (and I am not very good at any of these!), I create photographs.

I like to share places, events and emotions with other people and I find words often fail me, photography allows me to share what I saw or more importantly what I felt. I am one of the lucky few who can say that they love what they do for a living and have a great lifestyle built around that.

Life Style

“The trouble with the rat race is, even if you win, you are still a rat.” Lily Tomlin

I live a simple, low luxury and environmentally friendly lifestyle. WI live in a small converted weatherboard shearing shed, with solar power, no television and a toilet that is outside and does not flush. I am relatively non materialistic person and have made the conscious decision to accept a lower level of income and lower level of consumption to pursue a simple and fulfilling life.

Pricing

I like to use the absolute best of everything, in every step of the photographic process. I do everything to a quality that lasts.

About 12 years ago I decided to only buy what I really need and always buy the best quality. This policy has served me well as I still use and enjoy many of the goods and services I have purchased since making that decision.

“It is unwise to pay too much. But it’s worse to pay too little. When you pay too much, you lose a little money, that is all. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything……..."

The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. It can’t be done. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run and if you do that, you will have enough to pay for something better.” John Ruskin 1819-1900 TopTop
